We are building our data repository of thermal properties of building material. Send us samples of your building materials now and we will test them for free.
What is the test?
We are currently measuring the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity of homogeneous and opaque building materials. That means no hollow blocks and no glass. Why do I need to get this test done for my building material? The thermal properties of our building materials have a great impact on how comfortable our building is. With rising market awareness of these impacts, you would want to know how well your building material performs thermally.
What is the equipment?
We are proud to use the latest Transient Plane Source technology. Our equipment, the Hot Disk TPS 500s, can measure thermal conductivity values of up 200 W/m/K and specific heat capacity of up to 5 MJ/m³K. The testing process can take up to 14 days (subject to change) and you will be provided a test certificate which will be sent to your registered id and can also be collected from the CoE at Gwal Pahari, TERIgram. Download a sample report here.
How does one send in their samples?
All you need to do is contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and our representative will register your tests and give you further details. We want to be meticulous, so we test six different samples which need to be sent at the following address.
Mahindra-TERI Centre of Excellence Lab
Gurgaon - Faridabad Road,
Opposite Pathways School,
Gurugram - 122 102
We have a Return to Source policy, so make sure to collect your samples within 30 days after the testing or it will be disposed.
What do I Pay?
You pay nothing! No hidden clauses. We are inviting samples for free testing till the 31st of March 2019, so hurry.
